Join us from 6pm at our new Garrett Street space where Anya Paintsil will be in conversation with journalist and author Charlotte Jansen about her solo show We Are All Made of You.

 

Charlotte Jansen is a British Sri Lankan arts and culture journalist contributing to publications such as The Guardian, The Financial Times, British Vogue, Frieze and Wallpaper*. She is the author of Girl on Girl (LKP, 2017) and Photography Now (Tate/ilex, 2021) and the host of the Dior Talks podcast series The Female Gaze.

 

Anya Paintsil is a Welsh Ghanaian artist living and working in Chester. Her work has been acquired by institutions including the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery, Swansea; The Whitworth Art Gallery, Manchester;Tullie House Museum, Carlisle, and the Women's Art Collection, Cambridge. Anya was awarded the prestigious Wakelin Prize 2020 (exhibited at the Glynn Vivian in 2021), and featured in Crafts Council Gallery's exhibition 'Maker's Eye', London, and at Salon 94 in New York, both 2021.
