Foreign Lands: Things to do in London this weekend: 13 – 19 March 2023

Two celebrated African artists, Ermias Ekube and Senegalese Eric Pina are behind the latest exhibition to take over Ed Cross Gallery. Foreign Landsincorporates many themes including identity, cultural ownership, and the environment. Pina’s compelling sculptures are stripped of their situational setting, encouraging more profound curiosity in the viewer's mind. Alongside these, Ekube’s semi-abstract canvases present an emptiness, a void to be filled by the gallery-goer’s imagination.
